John Costa started Adaptive Mechanical with a strong desire to offer market-leading customer service to his clients. “I saw a career that is always in demand, recession proof, and offered me the ability to serve my community while being able to provide for a family. However, I often felt like I had my hands tied by bureaucracy when I was an employee and became frustrated when I couldn't offer better service to my customers,” says Costa.

According to Costa, being part of this industry can be taxing but is also rewarding in so many ways. “The best part about being in this industry is really a feeling of being needed. You definitely know every day that you're going out to make the world a better place in a tangible way,” he said. “You’re also afforded a significant amount of professional respect, and this makes you feel responsible for your community, which can be a burden sometimes, but also gives you a feeling of great satisfaction.”

John knew that to keep his guys on the job and offer the best services they could they had to invest in quality tools. When it comes to pipe inspections, they rely on Hathorn.

Hathorn’s products were particularly interesting to me as I try to support North American businesses and local whenever I am able,” said Costa. “Hathorn’s products are durable, and their customer service is second to none. I've recommended their products to several other plumbing companies. I've even lent out my camera and locator for others to try knowing it will stand up to the abuse our industry can subject tools to.”

Referrals are the best kind of compliment, and we look forward to an ongoing relationship, growing the brand, with great customers like John costa at Adaptive Mechanical.
