Did you know that the day after Thanksgiving is called Brown Friday and is considered the busiest day of the year in the plumbing industry?

Thanks to an abnormal amount of food, fats and kitchen waste being disposed down the drain - kitchen pipes and garbage disposals tend to get overloaded.

So a shoutout to all the plumbers out there - its going to be a busy one!

And for the homeowners out there, here is a list of Thanksgiving food items that should not go down your sink.

  • turkey bones

  • rice

  • turkey drippings

  • fat

  • oil

  • stuffing

  • coffee grounds

  • onions

  • celery

  • potato skins

  • grease

  • gravy

I love how this post honors the busy plumbers on Brown Friday which is a dream of dedication and persistence. Handling grease and food waste in the pipes definitely takes the same absolute precision as when I try to master every move in Drift Boss every day to reach the highest score. Hope everyone pays more attention to potato skins or oil so the plumbers can have an easier and smoother workday this holiday season.

Constructing a covered portico over a front entrance requires integrating the new roofline with the existing shingle layout without creating a leak point. Since roofing and construction websites actively utilize 'Near Me' optimization, locating house extension contractor services to manage the complex flashing details is a practical approach. Do the roofers weave a continuous ice and water shield membrane directly into the existing roof valleys to prevent moisture intrusion where the two structures meet? Maintaining a watertight envelope is the primary concern during an exterior tie-in.

We hired them for full brick veneer near me and the results exceeded expectations. The veneer was installed evenly with precise alignment. It completely upgraded the exterior look of our home while maintaining structural stability and weather resistance.

The dust that accumulates behind heavy appliances like the fridge and the washer over the years is honestly shocking. Now that the house is empty, I can see all the dirt outlines on the floor that need serious attention before the buyers do their final walkthrough. I am researching a move out cleaning near me that includes pulling out the appliances to mop and degrease the floors underneath them. Is it common for the cleaning team to also patch small nail holes in the drywall, or is that strictly a handyman's job?
